The Roper Mountain Science Center is a wonderful place to visit
and to find all kinds of things butterflies need. In these
beautiful gardens, monarchs and other butterflies can find
host plants, nectar, water and shelter along their way. These
gardens were photographed in summer by Charles O'Connor, and
tended by many loving hands, including those of garden curator
