“With arms waving, ears listening, and voices singing, the students at Lake View Elementary joyously joined author Crystal O’Connor and illustrator Valerie Hollinger as they shared their engaging book Jake and the Migration of the Monarch. At times during the presentation it was difficult to determine which were more thrilled…the teachers or the students!  Author visits are always informative and educational; however, Crystal and Valerie brought the entire package.  With music, costumes, storytelling, and interaction with students and staff, they provided one of the most outstanding programs I have seen in years.”  Joan Beth Page, Assistant Superintendent, Dillon District One
