Dear Dr. OConnor,
I thoroughly enjoyed
your presentation today. As the Creative
Writing teacher, I was very pleased that your information coincides with the
instruction I am giving my sixth, seventh and eight graders concerning writing
strategies and what comprises effective writing. This is the first time
Creative Writing has been offered at Rosemary Middle School, and I have students
from last nine weeks who have expressed an interest to continue the course!
You and I both know how important expressing one's self is and how writing
creatively can and does lead to the appreciation and improvement of all forms of
writing. Thank you again for an entertaining and informative lesson.
Your energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the writing process and the ability to
relate it to these students was impressive, to say the least. I certainly
hope that your visit will not be a one-time event!
